An impressive trip by boat to Minge village, which is also known as the “Lithuanian Venice” for its beautiful and unique landscape, located on the Nemunas delta, the main street of which is the river and the means of transport is a boat.
The village is situated on both banks of the river Minija, though, with no bridge in this area. Buildings of the village are located on both sides of the river. All facades are facing the “street” – the river Minija.
Minge village is slowly recovering today – it is visited not only by locals but also by tourists from other countries. During the trip, you will be able to enjoy the far and wide landscape of the Curonian Spit, the luxuriant wild flora and diversity of birds of the Nemunas delta.
